Christmas Hand Building Workshop (15+ Years)

Looking for a festive way to unwind, get creative and make something unique this Christmas?

Join us for our Christmas Hand Building Workshop, where you’ll create your own Christmas-themed pottery from clay. Come solo, grab a friend, bring your partner or make it a festive catch-up with Mum!

These Christmas Hand Building sessions are a fun and relaxing way to get into the festive spirit.

There will be plenty of festive inspiration available, making it easy for everyone, from complete beginners to seasoned creatives, to create something they’ll be proud of.

No experience is required and you’ll be surprised by what you can create, even if it’s your very first time working with clay – plus we’ll be there to guide you every step of the way to help you bring your Christmas ideas into reality.

We provide all the necessary tools and materials, ensuring you have everything you need to fully immerse yourself in the experience.

What’s Included

• Session One: 2.5-hour hand-building workshop
• Session Two: Return 2 weeks later to glaze your masterpiece
• 750g ball of clay
• All tools, materials and aprons
• First firing to prepare your pieces for glazing
• Second firing to finalise your pieces, making them food safe and watertight where applicable
• Expert guidance, examples and festive inspiration throughout the workshop

Want more clay? Additional 500g packs are available in the studio for $10 if you’re feeling extra ambitious!

Christmas Collection Timing

Following your glazing session, your pieces will be kiln fired and prepared for collection.

We know many of these creations will be destined for Christmas gifts, decorating and festive celebrations. We’ll be doing our very best to have all Christmas pieces ready for collection before Christmas Day, however collection timeframes cannot be guaranteed and may vary depending on firing schedules and seasonal demand.

This workshop is designed for participants aged 15 years and older.

The Fine Print

Pottery is wonderfully unpredictable. Small variations, imperfections or occasional kiln surprises can occur. While we take every care with each piece, we can’t offer refunds or credits for firing outcomes.

What we can guarantee: a relaxed, welcoming experience, plenty of festive creativity and very good Christmas vibes.
