Make a Mug with Mum: Mother’s Day Pottery Workshop

Celebrate Mother’s Day with time together and something meaningful you’ve made by hand.

This relaxed, beginner-friendly pottery workshop is designed for mums and their loved ones to slow down, enjoy a cuppa, and create side by side. During the session, each participant will hand-build a ceramic mug using simple techniques, with plenty of guidance along the way.

To keep the experience easy and enjoyable, you’ll paint your mug during the same session using ceramic underglazes. After the workshop, your piece will be bisque fired, finished with a clear gloss glaze, and fired again — making it food-safe, watertight, and ready for everyday use.

No experience needed, just come as you are and enjoy the process together.

• This workshop requires a minimum of 4 participants to run
• In the unlikely event minimum numbers aren’t met, you’ll be notified 48 hours prior and offered a transfer or full refund

Please note Pottery is wonderfully unpredictable. Small variations, imperfections or occasional kiln surprises can occur. While we take every care with each piece, we can’t offer refunds or credits for firing outcomes. What we can guarantee: a relaxed, welcoming experience and very good vibes.
